2 years agoAtlanta Braves closer Kenley Jansen (heart) is set to be activated from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday. Jansen has been on blood thinners to tend to his irregular heartbeat and he needs to be on the blood thinners for 15 days before activation -- if that weren't the case, he would have been activated when first eligible on Tuesday. If the team generates a save opportunity on Tuesday, we'll either see A.J. Minter or William Smith pitch the ninth inning. But Jansen will be back to closing duties starting Wednesday. The 34-year-old veteran has converted 20 of his 24 save chances this year while pitching to a 3.58 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
