Kenley Jansen Racks Up Another Save
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen picked up his 10th save of the season to finish off a sweep against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. Jansen threw a clean 1-2-3 inning and struck out two batters. Jansen has now pitched in back-to-back games and could be given the day off on Friday. If Jansen were to be unavailable, Blake Treinen would be the most likely candidate to pick up a save. Treinen is a strong insurance policy for managers that roster Jansen. Jansen now sports a 1.37 ERA to go along with 23 strikeouts and 15 walks over 19 2/3 innings.
