2 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Kenley Jansen (back) is expected to avoid a trip to the injured list. The right-hander mentioned he is dealing with some back tightness after Saturday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. Jansen said he was feeling better, but won't be available for a few days. The organization hopes he'll be able to play catch within the next day or two. It doesn't sound like a serious issue, so hopefully Jansen won't need a trip to the injured list. The Red Sox will likely go bullpen by committee until Jansen is ready to return.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
