Kendrick Bourne A Potential Starting Option In Week 1
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is currently listed as a starter on the team's depth chart, the only starting wide receiver who doesn't have an injury designation. If fellow starting wide receivers Deebo Samuel (foot) and Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) are out for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, Bourne becomes a deep league starting option as a WR3 or flex. Without Samuel and Aiyuk, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will likely feature tight end George Kittle heavily and then spread the ball around a lot beyond that. Bourne might be the best candidate after Kittle to have a solid day as a receiver in that case, but it's far from a sure thing that he'll deliver. If either or both of Samuel and Aiyuk play, Bourne should be avoided.
