Ken Giles Sent To Minors
6 years agoThe Houston Astros optioned relief pitcher Ken Giles to Triple-A Fresno on Wednesday after his ninth-inning meltdown Tuesday that led to a loss. It will be his first time in Triple-A since before he made his major league debut with the Phillies in June of 2014. Giles has fallen on hard times ever since the postseason of last year, and he gave up three hits and three runs without recording an out Tuesday against the A's. He can be dropped in most leagues at this point. Hector Rondon is the one to own for saves in Houston.
