2 years agoSeattle Mariners reliever Ken Giles (finger) is expected to throw a bullpen session either Monday or Tuesday. If he emerges from that without any setbacks, Giles is expected to begin a rehab assignment shortly after. Giles sprained the middle finger on his pitching hand during the spring and has yet to make a big-league appearance for Seattle in 2022. Giles hasn't pitched since 2020, needing to undergo Tommy John surgery after four appearances that season. He could eventually push for the ninth-inning role in Seattle provided his rehab goes smoothly.--Matt T - RotoBaller
