Kemba Walker, Tristan Thompson Won't Play Against Cleveland
4 years agoBoston Celtics guard Kemba Walker (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Cleveland. Center Tristan Thompson (health and safety protocols) remains out. Neither absence is surprising, given that Walker generally has been rested on the second half of back-to-backs this year- and Thompson has already been sidelined for one game. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown should see more usage while big men Daniel Theis and Robert Williams III will get added opportunities in the frontcourt. Theis had a double-double last night, though Williams is probably the more trustworthy option, despite his low minutes' totals.
