6 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Kelvin Herrera (back) left his appearance in Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox due to stiffness in his lower back. He is considered day to day. Something was certainly wrong, as he was hammered for five earned runs, three hits and two walks while retiring just two batters in the relief loss as he threw just 12 of his 24 pitches for strikes. Herrera slipped to 0-2 with a 5.29 ERA. When healthy he should mostly be avoided outside of the deepest of AL-only fantasy leagues using true relievers.--Daniel Dobish
