Kelly Oubre Jr. Signs With 76ers
1 year agoFree-agent forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. This news comes a week after the Miami Heat were reportedly the favorites to sign Oubre. Last season, Oubre averaged a career-high 20.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1,1 assists in 48 games with the Charlotte Hornets. Oubre was solid when healthy, but keeping him on the court was the biggest problem. In theory, Oubre could be a viable option for the Sixers. However, his value is also tied to what happens with James Harden. The superstar guard has made it known he wants out of Philly. It's uncertain whether or not Harden is actually going to play for the Sixers next season, assuming he's not traded. Oubre was a top-100 player in 9-cat leagues last season and could very well do it again if given a consistent role.
