Kelly Olynyk Agrees Two-Year Extension With Raptors
11 months agoToronto Raptors forward/center Kelly Olynyk has agreed on a two-year extension with the team, signing up for a $26.25 million pact, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The 32-year-old is coming off a three-year contract that paid him just north of $37 million. Toronto snapped up Olynyk in a trade with Utah last month. He has played eight games with the team, averaging 9.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.6 steals across 20.7 minutes. The versatile Canadian big man is sharing center minutes with Jakob Poeltl in Toronto, but Olynyk will likely make his first start for his new squad on Tuesday versus New Orleans after Poeltl dislocated a finger on Sunday against Charlotte.
