Keldon Johnson Says He’ll Play In Wednesday’s Opener

San Antonio Spurs shooting guard/small forward Keldon Johnson (foot) said Tuesday that he would be ready to take the floor for Wednesday's season opener against the Grizzlies. Johnson saw action in just 17 games last season, but averaged 9.1 points across 17.7 minutes per contest. The Spurs have distributed minutes plentifully across their backcourt over the past season, meaning that barring an injury to DeMar DeRozan, Johnson's fantasy intrigue is severely capped for the time being. With Derrick White (toe) unavailable Wednesday, Johnson could snag a handful of additional minutes, but likely not enough to be DFS relevant.
