KeeSean Johnson Impressive In Week 1
5 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Keesean Johnson was able to find himself in the starting lineup against the Detroit Lions, and made every bit count. The rookie saw double-digit targets (10), catching five passes for 46 yards. The fact that fellow rookie quarterback Kyler Murray looked his way so many times is encouraging. Recently signed veteran wide receiver Michael Crabtree was a healthy scratch shortly before the game. There is no telling when Crabtree will return, but until then, Johnson will remain the team's No. 3 wideout. Expect the young receiver to be a top waiver wire selection this week due to his high volume. Don't expect much in Week 2, though, against a tough Ravens Defense.
