5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (ankle) suffered an ankle injury and is likely to miss the preseason. He's also been dealing with a knee injury. Missing preseason games isn't that big of a deal, but it's fair to wonder now if he'll be ready for Week 1 against the Colts. His ankle injury could also slow him down early on, even if he doesn't miss any regular season games. The 27-year-old isn't a stranger to injuries -- he played in just nine games in a two-year span from 2015-16 because of injuries -- but he's also been a fantasy beast with 1,000-yard seasons the last two years and a total of 12 touchdowns.
