Keelan Cole Likely To Be A Game-Time Call
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole (knee) will likely be a game-time decision for Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson will also be without veteran Jamison Crowder for his first NFL start this weekend. Corey Davis will be the team's No. 1 wideout, and impressive rookie wideout Elijah Moore should see more opportunities. Former second-rounder Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios should also have bigger roles against Carolina if Cole isn't able to suit up. Cole, 28, is unlikely to see the field much with other names ahead of him on the depth chart this year, so he should be on waivers in most fantasy leagues. He had 55 receptions for 642 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in his final season with Jacksonville last year.
