Ke'Bryan Hayes Takes Grounders On Thursday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (ankle) went through some drills on the field on Thursday. He took some ground balls and also ran straight ahead at about 50% speed. The 25-year-old suffered a right ankle sprain about a week ago. The injury doesn't sound like anything significant, but there's a chance he could be sidelined for a few games at the start of the year. Last year, Hayes played in 96 games and slashed .257/.316/.373 while tallying six home runs, nine stolen bases, 38 RBI and 49 runs. He currently has an ADP of 180. If you're looking for a high-upside player in the double-digit rounds of your drafts, he's a worthy target to keep in mind.
