Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (hand) exited Saturday's finale with the Cubs early due to a hand injury, according to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The injury occurred when Hayes dove back to first base on a pickoff attempt in the first inning, and he was seen checking his left hand with trainers. Hayes remained in the game, but was pinch-hit for in the third inning. As of now the team has not released any specific details, but managers should stay tuned for further updates on one of the top hitting prospects in the National League.
