Kawhi Leonard Gets 12 Points In 19 Minutes In His Raptors Debut
6 years agoToronto Raptors guard/forward Kawhi Leonard made his long-awaited debut for the team on Saturday, playing 19 minutes and scoring 12 points in a 122-104 win over Portland. The Claw had a solid outing in general, although he did struggle with his shot, missing all four attempts from deep and finishing 6-for-11 from the free throw line. However, the shooting woes aren't a surprise as the players haven't played any meaningful games for a while, especially Kawhi who missed all but nine games last season. Leonard also picked up three assists, one rebound and one steal against the Blazers. He looks 100 percent healthy and if that's the case, then he'll be an MVP candidate in 2018-19.
