Karl-Anthony Towns Leads Minnesota With 31 Points
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns scored a team-high 31 points in Monday's narrow loss to Brooklyn, shooting 13-for-22 from the field and 4-for-8 from outside. Anthony Edwards hit some big shots near the end and supported him with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Towns added 12 rebounds with five assists and three blocks in 39 minutes. Minnesota's star center is on a three-game double-double steak and he even flirted with a triple-double a few games back. However, producing offense will likely be much tougher for Towns in the next matchup, with Minnesota hosting the Knicks, who are allowing a league-low 104.7 points per game this season.
