Karl-Anthony Towns Leads Minnesota Past The Lakers
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns led the team to a 110-92 victory over the Lakers on Friday, posting a double-double with 28 points and 10 rebounds while adding four assists, one steal and three blocks to his line. He shot 11-for-20 from the floor and 2-for-6 from three-point range. Towns has picked up a lot of steam lately and is now averaging over 27 points per game for the month with nine rebounds. Following the Lakers game, he looks set for a pair of huge outings against the Mavericks, who struggle to guard opposing bigs and whose efforts on the glass tend to be lackluster as well.
