The Kansas City Chiefs defense will have a tough time facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7. The Chiefs defense has been solid this season, giving up more than 20 points in just one contest, but they will be tested this week. The Niners offense ranks eighth in points per game this season, averaging 27 points. The San Francisco offense also ranks second in yards of total offense this season, just behind the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs defense has at least one takeaway in four of their five games this season and at least one sack in each contest. That said, the Kansas City defense averages just 5.8 points per game, good for 18th among defensive units. The Chiefs defense has only scored in double figures once this season, when they recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
