Kalif Raymond Looks To Step Up In Teammate's Absence
1 month agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond is projected to have an increased role over the next two weeks as teammate Jameson Williams serves a suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing substance policy. Raymond had already started to see an uptick in production with Williams on the field, catching seven passes for 112 yards and one touchdown over his last two games. Still, he was only running roughly one-third of the offensive snaps over those two weeks, but that number should jump with Williams off the field. Raymond and Tim Patrick will presumably compete for the No. 2 receiver role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown until Williams is eligible to return. For the time being, Raymond is only startable in deep fantasy leagues.
