Kalen Ballage On Outside Looking In
5 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage isn't expected to make the team's final 53-man roster, in the opinion of the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. The Dolphins signed Jordan Howard in free agency and traded for Matt Breida during the draft. Neither back is the long-term answer, but they both have experience and will have to prove themselves in 2020. Patrick Laird could leapfrog Ballage as the No. 3 in this backfield by the summer. Expect the oft-injured Breida to handle the work on the early downs, making him the most attractive RB3/flex in Miami. Howard will be a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex as a short-yardage and goal-line back.
