Ka'imi Fairbairn Designated To Return From Injured Reserve
Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (groin) was designated to return from injured reserve on Monday. He was placed on the injured reserve before Week 1 after sustaining a groin injury in the final game of the preseason. Houston will have three weeks to promote the kicker to the main roster. The 27-year-old started all 16 games for the Texans in 2020, converting 27-of-31 field goal attempts and 37-of-40 extra-point tries. Fairbairn will be the Texans kicker once activated and is expected to replace incumbent starter, Joey Slye. The Texans kicker doesn't offer much fantasy value and is a streamer at best in deep-league formats.
