Montreal Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle will miss Saturday's game against Carolina with a suspension. He has been suspended for one game without pay for slashing Philadelphia's Travis Konecny on Thursday in a 4-1 win. Guhle will be forced to sit out Saturday's action in the midst of a hot streak. The 22-year-old has tallied two goals and four assists in his past five appearances. Guhle has bagged 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 68 games for the season with a team-high 177 blocks and 113 hits. The suspension will likely give Johnathan Kovacevic a chance to rejoin the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
