Ka'ai Tom Has Team's Only Hit In Loss Tuesday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ka'ai Tom broke up Rockies right-hander German Marquez's no-hit bid with a leadoff single in the ninth inning and would record the only hit for Pittsburgh in an 8-0 loss to Colorado on Tuesday. Ironically, that was Tom's first hit since June 12, as he had gone 0-for-11 over his last seven games. While he prevented the no-hitter, he really doesn't have any fantasy value currently and is slashing .137/.278/.225 over 46 games this season.
