Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ka'ai Tom (wrist) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals with left wrist discomfort. It's the same wrist that just prompted a trip to the injured list for Tom. He was activated from the injured list this past weekend. The fact that the injury is reoccurring certainly seems like a bad sign, but he's being labeled as day-to-day by the team for now. Tom was 0-for-1 with a hit-by-pitch and a run scored in Tuesday's game before departing.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
