K.J. Osborn - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoBeing the third wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings recently has been less than ideal for fantasy purposes. Most weeks, K.J. Osborn is going to be the fourth option, at best, in a run-first offense. Some weeks he could be even lower if they decide to get tight end Tyler Conklin involved. The first two weeks of the season gave Osborn's fantasy managers reason for optimism, as he turned 15 targets into 12 catches, including a Week 2 touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. However, after logging 81% of the snaps during Week 1, Osborn hasn't eclipsed 63% since. His production has also taken a hit, managing only 66 yards the past three weeks. But with fellow receivers Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson nursing injuries, a golden opportunity could be there for the second-year wideout. He proved in Weeks 1 and 2 that he was a capable playmaker, so if either Thielen or Jefferson is out or limited against the Carolina Panthers, don't be surprised if Osborn puts up flex numbers once again.
