K.J. Osborn An Early Leader Among Patriots Receivers
9 months agoFormer Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn, who is heading into his fifth NFL season in 2024, has positioned himself as an early leader among New England Patriots receivers this offseason. Osborn will need to build on his offseason progress in training camp this summer, but he was usually first through drills during organized team activities and mandatory minicamp. ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss believes that Osborn, slot receiver Demario Douglas and rookie second-rounder Ja'Lynn Polk could easily be the team's top three targets to open the year if everyone is healthy. And Kendrick Bourne (knee) is expected to be healthy as he returns from a torn ACL and should be part of the mix as well. The 27-year-old Osborn should be used as more of a traditional receiver in New England, but he still has a ways to go to become fantasy relevant in standard 12-team redraft leagues.

K.J. Osborn, Chris Rodriguez Jr. Inactive On Championship Sunday
2 months agoAccording to the team, Washington Commanders wide receiver K.J. Osborn and running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. are both inactive for Sunday's NFC title game against the Philadelphia Eagles. They are healthy scratches. Both players were inactive during the first two rounds of the playoffs and will sit out again. Osborn has played in just one game since joining the Commanders off waivers in December. Rodriguez has operated in a depth change-of-pace role during the regular season and averaged a solid 4.9 yards per carry. As a result, fantasy managers should expect receivers Terry McLaurin, Dyami Brown, and Olamide Zaccheaus to operate as the top wideouts, while Brian Robinson Jr., Austin Ekeler, and Jeremy McNichols are deployed out of the backfield.

K.J. Osborn Won't Play Against Cowboys
3 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver K.J. Osborn (illness) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Osborn had been listed as questionable with an illness, but it's also possible that his absence is non-injury-related and merely a coach's decision, as has been the case most weeks since Washington claimed him off waivers from New England. Terry McLaurin remains the Commanders' primary receiver with Olamide Zacchaeus thriving in a complementary role. Dyami Brown, Luke McCaffrey, and Jamison Crowder are depth pass-catching options for Sunday's regular-season finale.

K.J. Osborn Inactive Again For Week 16
4 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver K.J. Osborn (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Osborn was claimed off waivers from the New England Patriots earlier this month but has not yet made his Commanders debut. In fact, the 27-year-old has appeared in just seven games this year, catching seven passes for 57 yards and one touchdown. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

K.J. Osborn A Healthy Scratch In Week 15
4 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver K.J. Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints. Osborn did not appear on the injury report this week and is a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers from New England just a few days ago, so it's possible he's inactive simply because he didn't have enough time to get integrated within the Washington offense. Regardless of the reason, he's not a dependable fantasy option moving forward.
