Justyn-Henry Malloy Hitless To Extend Cold Streak
1 year agoIn a game for Triple-A Toledo, Detroit Tigers prospect Justyn-Henry Malloy was hitless in four at-bats, grounding into two double plays. Since May 17, Malloy has slashed .158/.304/.289 with two home runs, eight RBI, nine runs, and a 29.2% strikeout rate. Despite this cold stretch, the 23-year-old is slashing .263/.401/.437 with nine home runs, 33 RBI, 33 runs, and a 16.8% walk rate. While he was considered a great stash earlier in the season, the Detroit Tigers have solidified their infield amidst his cold stretch. While there are still opportunities in the outfield, Malloy needs to perform better to be worth stashing outside the deepest leagues.
