Justin Wrobleski Set To Make MLB Debut On Sunday

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitching prospect Justin Wrobleski is set to make his major league debut on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Wrobleski is being promoted from Triple-A to fill in as a spot starter to give the other Dodger starters an extra day off. The Oklahoma State product has progressed through the minor leagues very quickly, as he started in Single-A just two years ago. This summer, he began the campaign by making his Double-A debut, where he logged 67 2/3 frames to the tune of a 3.06 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 13:62 BB:K ratio. He was then moved up to Triple-A Oklahoma City in late June and needed just 10 1/3 innings there to prove he was ready for the big leagues. The 23-year-old could be an intriguing play in DFS and deeper leagues on Sunday but should remain on the waiver wire in shallow formats as he could only make one start in this brief stint.
