Justin Wilson Activated On Wednesday
3 years agoThe New York Yankees activated relief pitcher Justin Wilson (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday and optioned reliever Albert Abreu to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. Wilson has been sidelined for over a month with a hamstring strain and had a rough 6.08 ERA over 15 outings before the injury, so the Yankees are hoping that he can rebound now that he's healthy. The 33-year-old southpaw will add another lefty arm to New York's bullpen, but Wilson won't have much fantasy appeal while pitching in middle relief.
