Justin Turner Still Getting It Done
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner, often considered the heart and soul of this Dodgers team for his elite work ethic and leadership qualities, continues to get it done offensively. His on-base percentage has been at .400 or higher in three of the last four years, and he's on pace to do it again in 2021. Turner has stepped up in the early going with injuries sidelining Cody Bellinger and Mookie Betts and is slashing .378/.415/.676 with five doubles, two home runs and nine RBI heading into Tuesday's action against the Colorado Rockies. While the 36-year-old veteran obviously doesn't have the most fantasy upside on this stacked Dodgers squad, he remains useful for his average and OBP while also providing plenty of counting stats in this strong lineup. If he can remain healthy during the year, Turner will remain relevant in all mixed leagues.
