Justin Thomas Is Making His Second Start At Bay Hill
9 months agoSo far in 2024, Justin Thomas has played in four events, which has resulted in one top-five, one top-10, one top-15, and a missed cut. However, it's worth noting that things have transpired in that order. JT still has the ball-striking prowess we've come to expect, but there has been no magic to be found with his putter. He ranks eighth in strokes gained from tee to green (1.342), 11th in strokes gained around the green (.563), and 39th in strokes gained on approach (.446). The flip side of that coin, though, is a rank of 152nd in strokes gained putting (minus-.554). He hasn't made much effort to play this event in past years, with his only start coming last year (T21). The Alabama alum isn't quite the draw he was a couple of seasons ago. However, he still possesses the ability to take over a tournament if he's firing on all cylinders. At $10,300 on FanDuel, Thomas isn't a must-have addition to a lineup, but he isn't a fade either.
