Justin Steele Picks Up Second Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Justin Steele picked up a loss in his second start of the season versus the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. Steele went four innings and allowed five hits, two runs, three walks and struck out five on the evening. The pitching prospect will be in the rotation for the rest of the season for the Cubs, but his innings could be limited. Steele has shown good stuff on the mound and is worth watching in deeper mixed leagues, but he can remain on the waiver wire until he is able to go deeper into games for wins and quality starts. Next up for Steele will be a matchup versus the Colorado Rockies on Monday.
