Calgary Flames center Justin Kirkland (lower body) will miss Saturday's meeting with Pittsburgh. The 28-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in Friday's 5-2 defeat against Columbus. Kirkland has found decent success as a fourth-line forward, producing two goals and six assists in 21 appearances while delivering 45 hits. Adam Klapka, who is scoreless through five outings this season, will take over from Kirkland on Saturday. The Czech winger last saw action over a month ago, logging 9:15 of ice time in a 5-3 loss to Winnipeg on Oct. 26.
