Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert completed 33 of his 51 pass attempts for 293 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a 37-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Herbert added 22 yards rushing on three carries. This was the second consecutive game in which the third-year signal-caller attempted over 50 passes, and this trend could continue as the Chargers defense has allowed 27 points per game through the first seven weeks. The two passing touchdowns were a welcome sight for fantasy managers as Herbert had not thrown more than one since Week 4. Los Angeles is on bye in Week 8, so hopefully, Herbert will return with a fully-healthy Keenan Allen (hamstring) against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert could find himself missing some key weapons in the Wild Card Round against the Houston Texans. The Chargers have listed starting wide receiver Quentin Johnston (thigh/illness) and starting running back J.K. Dobbins (ankle) as questionable for Saturday's game. Both have been critical parts of the Chargers offense this season, but Herbert could find himself with Gus Edwards in the backfield and essentially only Ladd McConkey catching passes. Still, Herbert finished the season off well, putting up top-10 fantasy performances at his position for the past three weeks in a row. He's a strong option for playoff leagues made stronger if "QJ" and Dobbins are able to suit up.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had a big game to close out the regular season in a Week 18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Herbert completed 28 of his 36 pass attempts for 346 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 42 yards on the ground on four carries. Herbert had a long run of 41 yards that almost ended in a touchdown but was able to make one of his two touchdown passes right after to score the six points. That touchdown went to Will Dissly, and his other one went to D.J. Chark. Herbert took only one sack, losing 10 yards on the play. He and the Bolts will face the Texans on Saturday in the Wild Card Round.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is potentially a strong fantasy option in Week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chargers will either be locked into the No. 6 seed or have a chance at the No. 5 seed in the final game of the regular season, depending on the results of Saturday's games. If the Bolts have a chance to better their playoff position, Herbert will certainly play and should be a top-10 option at the position against a Raiders defense with nothing to play for. Fantasy managers should have a backup option available, however, as Herbert and other Chargers starters could sit out if the team is locked into the sixth seed, which would give the start to backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke. Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said he'd "do what's best for the team" when asked about whether starters would play.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh wouldn't commit on Monday to whether the starters will play this Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. If the Pittsburgh Steelers win on Saturday against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals, the Chargers would be locked into the No. 6 seed and would face either the Baltimore Ravens or the Steelers in the wild-card round. However, if the Steelers lose on Saturday, the Bolts would have a chance to move up to the No. 5 seed with a win over the Raiders. The fifth seed in the AFC will travel to face the Houston Texans on wild-card weekend. "We'd love to be the fifth seed," Harbaugh said. The decision on whether to play quarterback Justin Herbert and the rest of the starters this weekend will all come down to whether LA has a chance to move into the No. 5 seed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
