Justin Herbert Throws For 245 Yards In Narrow Win
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert completed 30 of his 43 pass attempts for 245 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 20-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. It's been a relatively disappointing season for Herbert after a breakout campaign in 2021, and he was unable to take advantage of a plus-matchup on Sunday. With Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) injured, it's clear Los Angeles' passing attack is lacking consistent weapons. Herbert's upside will likely be capped as long as his starting receivers are sidelined. Regardless, he will be worthy of a start in Week 10 despite a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
