5 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Jurickson Profar and outfielder Robbie Grossman have been struggling this year, which means Chad Pinder and Mark Canha could see more opportunities. Pinder and Canha combined for 30 home runs, 34 doubles and 79 RBI in 663 at-bats in 2018. Profar had a career year last season in Texas, but he's hitting only .181/.247/.306 while also battling the yips on defense (eight errors). Grossman is slashing only .215/.333/.346 on the season. Until Pinder and Canha start seeing more playing time, though, they are strictly bench options in AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
