3 months agoTampa Bay Rays third base prospect Junior Caminero went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI on Thursday evening. Since returning to Triple-A on July 20 due to a quadriceps injury, the top prospect has gone deep three times, holding a strong .279/.304/.536 line with six RBI and two doubles. Overall, the 21-year-old has held a .265/.327/.429 slash line with 11 home runs, 30 RBI, and one swiped bag across 45 games at Triple-A Durham this summer. Caminero is on the verge of returning to the major leagues and should remain stashed in all formats.
