Jung Ho Kang Removed From Triple-A Roster
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang was removed from Wednesday's Indianapolis Indians lineup. The Twitter account for the team sent a tweet out early Wednesday afternoon with the words "Lineup changes... Jung Ho Kang removed from the starting lineup [looking eyes]." All the speculation is that Kang got the call to be with the Bucs. He has gone 6-for-11 with three runs and three RBI in his last three games in the minors. Kang was productive for the Bucs in 2015 and 2016, hitting a combined 36 home runs with a .273 average. He could definitely become a fantasy option in most leagues if he's called up and sees enough playing time, but owners in shallow leagues may want to take more of a wait-and-see approach. Stay tuned.
