Julio Urias Throwing From 75 Feet
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias (shoulder) said in a spring training clubhouse interview with Sports Net L.A.'s Alanna Rizzo that he remains optimistic about his recovery from shoulder cap surgery. He says he's throwing from 75 feet and looks forward to throwing from the mound again. However, he also stressed that he hasn't been given a timetable from the Dodgers and doesn't know when a bullpen session will even be possible. Urias was one of the hottest pitching prospects in baseball and showed why when he was called up in 2016 at the age of 19. But given how far away he is from the big leagues and the lingering effects from such a surgery, his fantasy value has never been lower. Dynasty owners will have to hold a bit longer until some positive news emerges.
