Julio Urias Moving To 'Pen After Thursday Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias will move to the bullpen after his start against the Brewers on Thursday. The Dodgers are limiting the 22-year-old's innings after he missed the majority of last season following left shoulder surgery. The left-hander has talent but also entered Thursday's outing with a 5.27 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 8.6 K/9 in three starts to begin the year. He could definitely be back in the rotation down the road, but it might take another injury to a Dodgers starter for that to happen. There's just not room in the rotation right now with Clayton Kershaw back and Rich Hill (knee) and Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) on the mend.
