Julio Rodriguez Draws A Pair Of Walks In Sunday's Loss
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez went 0-for-2 with two walks and a strikeout in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. J-Rod and the Mariners didn't have much offense in Sunday's series finale as they struck out 14 times as a team and mustered just three runs. Rodriguez has reached base safely in 8-of-10 games, however, and owns a .245/.311/.447 batting line to go along with four home runs, 12 RBI, and five stolen bases across 94 at-bats. It's been a slow start for the 22-year-old All-Star but he's going to be just fine moving forward. The M's head hit the road this week to start a three-game series with the Phillies on Tuesday.
