Julian Edelman Practices Monday, Comes Off NFI List
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (thumb) practiced for the first time on Monday, passed his physical and was removed from the Non-Football Injury list. Edelman broke his thumb in July and hasn't played since the Super Bowl win over the Rams. The 33-year-old had 74 receptions for 850 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games last year -- he missed four games due to a suspension for performance-enhancing drugs. If healthy, Edelman should approach 1,000 yards receiving as Tom Brady's go-to target in this offense. He's a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 in PPR leagues, but this injury could cause him to start out slowly.
