J.P. Crawford Exits With Possible Injury
7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop J.P. Crawford was on his way to another strong game when he was removed in the eighth inning in favor of Pedro Florimon. It appears that this was the case because the 23-year-old was hit by a foul ball while inside the Phillies dugout. Philadelphia’s athletic trainer was seen following Crawford back into the clubhouse afterwards. Prior to the injury, the former top prospect had recorded two hits from the sixth spot in the order. There have been no updates of Crawford’s status going forward.
