Josh Pennington To Retire From Baseball After Another Arm Setback
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers prospect Josh Pennington has officially announced his retirement after suffering another setback on his pitching arm. Pennington, who was only 22 and was acquired in the deal that landed the Brewers Travis Shaw has dealt with numerous injuries to his throwing arm leaving him no choice but to retire so no further damage is inflicted. He finishes with a career 2.39 ERA in 113 innings pitched through Class-A and Rookie class baseball.
