Josh Jacobs Hoping To Play In Week 13
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (calf) is not expected to practice much, if at all this week due to his calf strain, according to sources. He'll receive around-the-clock treatment in hopes of playing in Week 13 against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. Fantasy managers should expect Jacobs to be questionable for this weekend's game after he aggravated a calf strain in the Week 12 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks when he rumbled for a season-high 229 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. The 24-year-old is the RB1 in half-point PPR scoring this year, so he'll be a must-start if he's active against the Bolts. If he doesn't get cleared this week, Ameer Abdullah would likely lead a backfield that would also include Brandon Bolden and rookie Zamir White. Abdullah is worth a speculative waiver-wire pickup this week.
