Josh Jackson Leads Pistons In Scoring Wednesday Night
4 years agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Josh Jackson had a team-high 25 points on 10-for-18 shooting in Wednesday's loss to New Orleans, completing his line with six rebounds and three assists. He finished 2-for-6 from downtown and was 3-for-4 at the charity stripe. Jerami Grant (rest) sat out this one, which gave everybody else a chance to eat, and Jackson was the hungriest. The 24-year-old has provided Detroit with nice bench scoring this month, averaging 17.5 points off the pine. He's done a decent job in other categories as well, notching 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks. Jackson's next chance to shine comes on Friday in a dream matchup against the pacy Kings, who are lost defensively and own a league-worst 116.2 defensive efficiency.
