Josh Hart, Knicks Agree To Extend Option Deadline
1 year agoAccording to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks and guard Josh Hart have mutually agreed to extend the deadline on a decision surrounding his $12.9 million player option. The 28-year-old now has until Thursday to decide if he'll enter free agency. New York acquired Hart at the trade deadline. He was instrumental in the team's late-season success, averaging 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 25 appearances for the Knicks. No matter where the former Villanova Wildcat ends up in the coming season, he'll likely remain a reliable fantasy asset. However, Hart may be more productive staying in The Big Apple.
