Josh Harrison Close To Rehab Assignment

Detroit Tigers second baseman Josh Harrison (hamstring) is close to starting a minor league rehab assignment. If all goes well, he could return by the end of the month. Harrison has been a bust in Detroit and has been out since late May due to a hamstring strain that required surgery. The 32-year-old is hitting an embarrassing .176/.219/.265 with a homer, 10 runs, eight RBI and four steals in 136 at-bats. Harrison won't even be guaranteed regular playing time when he returns from the injured list, making him a non-factor in most fantasy leagues.
